Best Fit For

Tadpole swimmers are still developing water confidence and foundational skills. They are able to participate in lessons independently + follow instruction from swim instructor This level focuses on comfort, submersion, floating, kicking, and early independent movement in the water.

focus on intro + reinforcement of swim routine + boundaries to build safety + comfort in water.  

TADPOLE 1s are:

  • able to safely participate in lessons independently + follow instruction from swim instructor.

  • NOT yet comfortable putting their face in the water or entering into a float on their back or front

focuses on building on swimmers’ independence + confidence in the water. 

TADPOLE 2s are:

  • comfortable submerging at least ½ of their face/head independently +doing a full submersion with assistance

  • building confidence with lesson structure + able to complete most tadpole skills successfully
